COVID-19 UPDATE All of us here at Niagara United talk about how a connection is a key when dealing with your mental health, isolation is what we do when our mental health starts to take its toll on us.
The world we live in currently has required us to self-isolate, which has proven to be difficult for some, where others seem like pros at it, and both are okay, any way you feel currently is okay, we can and will come out of this soon enough. Until then we are left self-isolating in the best way we can.
Here at Niagara United, we don't want you to be alone during isolation, we want you to stay connected when and if needed. We now offer our MAPS (mental health awareness peer support) meetings online. These meetings are offered through www.zoom.us on your computer or through the Zoom app through your phone's app store. Meetings can be joined anytime after 7 pm and meeting codes and passwords will be updated here daily.
We are all facing a variety of changes going on individually and as a whole right now, we at NU are trying our best to get meetings set up to help those in need of connection and conversation. If you have ideas please feel free to reach out to us at email@example.com, we enjoy hearing from you and want the community to stay connected the best it can.
